Internships and Field Work

- Find an internship with the help of .
- Seniors apply for a for-credit internship in SOC 380: Internship in Sociology. You’ll work in a local organization with an on-site supervisor.
- Once accepted into the program, social work students will complete a 400-hour practicum with an agency that matches your interests. You’ll practice assessment, intervention, and evaluation skills and gain experience in policy work, advocacy, research, and community organization.
- Students can also complete their internship through an off-campus semester program in Washington D.C. or .
