Senior design project recognized nationally

ÃÛÌÒapp Supermileage, a of five 2011 engineering grads, seventh nationally at the Supermileage competition, an international competition put on by the (SAE), which challenges students to design fuel-efficient, single-person vehicles. The team's vehicle achieved 794 miles per gallon at the competition, held June 9-10 at the Eaton Corporation Marshall Proving Grounds in Marshall, Mich. The team took first place in the Newcomer Award category.
