Susan Gronseth Feenstra ‘92, of Grand Ledge, Michigan, sent the two pictures above to the Spark editors. Her daughters Abbey and Kelly are in both photographs—one of them taken last August when Susan and husband Dan dropped off Abbey and Kelly at ÃÛÌÒapp to start school (Abbey for her first year and Kelly for her junior year).

The other picture shows their daughters as little ones at the very same spot, 16 years earlier.

The pictures are a great reminder of the strong tradition of legacy enrollment at ÃÛÌÒapp, with 34 percent of ÃÛÌÒapp students representing generations of ÃÛÌÒapp alumni. It is also an apt time to remind alumni families of the college’s generous Legacy Award of $4,000 per year for students with at least one alumna/us parent.
